| This is one of those cases where I will in fact be creating a
software program to automate these steps, but haven't yet. Once I have the software finished I will add it to my site and sell it from there, BUT, I am going to give you the manual instructions on how to do this now (it's fast and easy) and I hope that you will basically write up a little 'review' for it and email it back to me. I have been (in my own mind) calling this system "Banner Slamming" ... and it's extremely effective. Here is the short version (fully detailed version below). You will basically signup for several banner exchange programs, then use a lead capture page and put all of your banner codes on that page, next you'll buy the crappy traffic that abounds on the net for pennies per thousands of hits, this is going to cause your banners to get a ton of action. Now, the banner exchanges have millions of users combined, and those users have pages and traffic levels of every conceivable combination, therefore you basically generated banner credits to show your ads on 'real' sites that have real visitors and will therefore produce a steady flow of very targeted traffic. Okay, that was the short version - If you are an experienced marketer, you probably got the 'ahhhhhh' factor and seen exactly why and how this works. So now, for those of you who do not fully grasp this concept and practice, I have written the full blow-by-blow instructions below... STEP ONE - Get your own banner ready... You will need to have a banner ready for when you signup with banner exchange services so that they have a way to start sending you targeted traffic immediately. We have options here... 1.) You already have a banner 2.) You do not have a banner -- If you don't have one, you can always create your own using my banner generator software (free for you) and you can [GET IT HERE]. In my opinion, using banners that look more like text or interactive form out pulls standard banners.
NOTE: You will be making it so that
your banner connects to what ever you are promoting.... your own
site, an affiliate page, a lead capture page or whatever.
STEP TWO - Alright, lets get your 'Banner Slammer'
page created and setup. This is
sooooooo easy! :-) [1] Create
yourself a free blog (use vSearchVoodoo if you have it) ..... just
create a free blog anywhere you want (www.blogger.com) is easy
enough. [2] Go to
www.ezinearticles.com and grab an article or two, or three...
doesn't really matter, just grab enough to make it look like your
blog has some content... doesn't have to be on any particular topic,
and the articles don't even have to match.
[3] Open your blog page and paste in your
articles as a post.
AFTER YOU COMPLETE STEP THREE - COME BACK AND FINISH YOUR BLOG
[4] Now, on each of the banner exchange
sites, they gave you banner code to install in your page... use the
'html' option in your blog account and divide your banner codes out
evenly with your articles... For
example, if you snagged 3 articles, and have signed up for 6 banner
exchanges, then put 2 banner codes on the top of the page above your
first article, then the next two banner codes right above your
second article, and the last two right above your third article.
STEP THREE - Sign up with several banner exchange services (minimum 6 - no
maximum) [CLICK
HERE] for a list of banner exchange companies to sign-up
with. A lot of the banner exchanges give you free
credits for signing up... sweet! As you signup with these places, be sure to
create a text file to have easy access to all of the banner exchange urls,
your login information and so on. STEP FOUR
- Now lets go buy a grip of the trashiest
el'cheapo traffic we can find... Here are a few places to find it... Remember, these are
all junk traffic sources.... you are just looking for the cheapest,
and the fastest delivery. [2] Exit Traffic
With a little looking around, you can find
things like 100,000 'visitors' for around $20 ... there are all
kinds of great deals on this trash traffic.
STEP FIVE - All of the trash traffic that you are
purchasing will be going to your blog/banner slammer page ... yet
all of your own banner exposures (on other peoples sites) will be
going to your legitimate page as described in step two. Do you see how it works out?
Instead of just getting a ton of untargeted
trash hits to your own site from those 'traffic sellers', you will
actually be generating thousands upon thousands of credits in your
banner exchange programs which will be providing you with pretty
darn targeted real traffic, thereby creating a much more valuable
ROI on your trash traffic purchases.
